General Questions
Q1. Why do you want to join the Wyvern Moderation team? I would like to join the staff team to help bring this server to life and be part of the servers creation and enforce the rules and regulations of the server, as a staff member I would be actively moderating and helping the community in the best way I can to make the servers reputation skyrocket in a positive manner.
Q2. What impact will you make towards the Moderation team? The impact I hope to make would only be positive I would hope to give good ideas to help the server and be someone that the community could come to whenever they needed help.
Q3. What experience do you have and how could that contribute to the Wyvern Moderation Team? Well I have played star wars roleplay servers for a while and I know how to be a staff member so my experience on star wars servers and staff position in general would help me to make decisions.
Scenario Questions
Several questions below will please answer with depth and with examples of ULX commands.
Assume in these situations you have received the rank of Moderator.
Q1. A user has committed RDM, He was then brought to a sit by you and he started to then verbally abuse you, calling you unwanted profanities. What is your course of action? Ban with !ban [Name] [Time] [Reason]
The ban time would obviously depend on what he called me if he called me slurs like the N word or F slur for example then I would perm ban him but if he was just telling me to fuck off and shut up I would obviously still ban him for staff dis but it wouldn't be very long. roughly 2-4 days depending on what the guidelines said.
Q2. The Head Admin requests you to take a sit where there has been an RDM. It is not clear as to whether the accused actually did do it what can you use to find out what happened. I would investigate the situation ask the Head admin himself what happened see if he saw it or if anyone has proof of it occurring at the end of the day though if the head admin ordered me to ban him I would follow his command though if it seems unreasonable I would report it to a higher ranking staff.
Q3. A cadet has joined and is threatening to DDoS server and is saying he will do it if he does not get AHC to train him. What is your course of action? Ban him immediately for server threats !ban [Name] {Server threats} Then I would inform management to check with the server host about the ddos threatsI would make it a perm ban as server threats and or actions are not tolerated!
Q4. A ticket has been made about a trooper who is stating a CO is abusing their rank to be able to do what ever they want, how would you approach this situation. I would open the ticket and go in !spectate I would then !goto the co and watch and see if the CO is doing what he has been accused of if he is I would talk to him before warning but at the end of the day the trooper may just not like following orders if thats the case no further action will be pursued except reminding the trooper that made the ticket to not make false tickets.
Q5. You witness a Senior Moderator abusing their staff abilities. What is your course of action? Record so u have proof then file a staff report to management
Q6. During an Event you are getting reports of a trooper abusing their Jet-Pack/Grapple to get over the top of an EMs wall even after the EM restricting their use within the event. What is your course of action? First of all !goto to the trooper then verbally warn the trooper to not abuse there equipment in the event as the Em said the equipment was not allowed then if the trooper continued i would !warn him.
